Tomas (Thomas, Tom) Belisario Garcia, our cherished cowboy, was born in Coyote, NM in 1936 to Jose Thomas Garcia and Suzana Lobato.

Troy James Eberling June 12, 1977 ~ January 28, 2025

Troy James Eberling was born on June 12, 1977 in Colorado Springs, CO to Jim A. Eberling and Gloria Annette (Smith) Eberling. Troy passed away on January 28, 2025.
Troy was raised in Magna, UT. He received his early education at Magna Elementary School and graduated from Cyprus High School, where he was involved on the rodeo team.

Lynn Henry Stevens September 16, 1936 ~ February 5, 2025

Lynn Henry Stevens, 88, died peacefully on February 5, 2025 at his home in Blanding, Utah after a year-long battle with cancer.
Lynn was born at home in Blanding on September 16, 1936. He is the son of Brigham and Afton Stevens and the youngest of six children.
Growing up he participated in sports, scouts, hunting, horseback riding, cliff climbing, hiking, and working on the family farm.

Dennis Duane Christensen was born to Ray and Olive Melissa Jarvis Christensen on June 12, 1939. He passed away in Snowflake, AZ on January 10, 2025.
His father died when he was six, leaving his mother with 9 children at home and a small government pension. He would say, “I was born in Monticello in a one-room shack; it didn’t have a window, so we looked through a crack.”

Margaret Oa Jacobs Shumway, age 88 of Blanding, passed away peacefully on January 14, 2025. Born in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada, she was the eldest of four siblings.
Margaret graduated from Brigham Young University in 1958 with a nursing degree, where she met and married Bruce Lyman Shumway.

Joella (Jody) Shumway Whitaker, age 72, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, on November 30, 2024, in Blanding, UT.
She was born to Glen and Patricia Shumway on August 24, 1952. Jody grew up in Blanding, where she met and married Jeff Bailey, the father of her five children.
After their divorce, she met, fell in love with and married Daniel Whitaker, with whom she spent the remainder of her life.
